I am Shirli Libet, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in maternal mental health, supporting women through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I also work with adults facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and major life changes.

Using evidence based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I provide a safe, compassionate space to release old wounds, strengthen relationships, and restore balance. I work with individuals, couples, and families to foster resilience and lasting growth.

Whether you are navigating parenthood, relationships, or personal struggles, I am here to guide you toward healing and renewed well being. Offering both in person and online sessions across California.

For me, this work is deeply personal. I know how overwhelming and isolating the journey of motherhood can feel—from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. That’s why I sit with women through the emotional, physical, and psychological ups and downs of this season. Whether it’s postpartum depression, anxiety, or simply the weight of it all, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and less alone. Together, we’ll build resilience and restore balance so you can move through motherhood with more strength, clarity, and hope.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR Therapy: A research-based approach that helps adults process trauma, heal from PTSD, and reduce anxiety. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses eye movements and bilateral stimulation to reprocess difficult memories so they lose their emotional intensity. Treatment is often shorter-term, with many clients noticing significant progress in as little as 6–12 sessions. EMDR provides lasting relief from emotional triggers, empowering you to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and balance.

Convenience and Accessibility

Telehealth allows clients to access therapy from the comfort of their own homes, eliminating the need to travel to a therapist's office. This is especially beneficial for those with mobility issues, living in remote areas, or having busy schedules.
